P8000 Stepper Drive Series
The P8000 Stepper Drive Series is the most recent flagship stepper drive platform from Kollmorgen. These drives provide increased output current ranges and capabilities, allowing our clients to utilize a broader selection of Kollmorgen stepper motors. They are appropriate for applications needing low-speed, point-to-point motion control for fixed loads, such as labelers, indexers, CNC machines, packaging machines, and pumps. These drives are now available for DC operation and are meant to power 2-phase hybrid stepper motors.
New Performance Benchmark- At all speeds and regardless of step size, functioning is seamless. The drives of the P8000 Series feature a control system that optimizes the output current to the motor phases, whether full-stepping or micro-stepping, allowing for smooth motion over the entire speed range
- Outstanding ratio of power to size. Compared to the 6410 drive, the new P80630-SDN generates 10% more output current in a 60% smaller size.
- Simple Setup The P80630-SDN has dip-switch selectable settings that allow customers to get their machines up and running quickly without the need for a computer.
