This system contains a nine-axis camera-driven walking beam with a flipping mechanism. This allows for a smooth 3D laser profile image acquisition and formation of all flat and crescent-shaped surfaces at 30 ppm.

Four laser profilers image all surfaces of uniquely shaped parts with complex machined geometric features. An innovative flattening algorithm for geometric data normalization allows the smart machine to detect those small defects in 3D geometric shapes.
